Caucus Night

Hours leading up to Tuesday night’s statewide caucuses paid off for Tim Bridgewater.  Thousands of calls were made by Mr. Bridgewater and dozens of volunteers on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.  The national media, including CNN and the New York Times, was in our South Jordan office to cover the momentum the campaign has received.

On Tuesday night, Utahns attended their local precinct caucuses in record numbers.  Issues from national health care, earmarks, federal deficits, growing Washington corruption and taxation prompted this wave of participation by people to change the status quo.  Their voice was heard loud and clear!  The resounding call for a different voice of the people was heard.  Tim praised the evening’s events saying, “Grassroots politics is alive and well in America.  On Tuesday we showed country that Utah is ready a new day.”

Tim didn’t miss a beat after caucus meetings.  In fact he visited 5 counties in the 24 hours following the caucus meetings.  He met with delegates in Carbon, Grand, San Juan, Emery, and Utah counties, discussing the most pressing issues on their minds.  From land sovereignty to economic issues to change in Washington D.C., Utahns want a new generation of leadership in our nation’s capital.  Tim Bridgewater is part of that new generation of conservative leaders.  On May 8th, GOP state delegates will make it happen.
